WOYWW!! Wednesday 25th February 2015

Hello all you crafty people

Welcome to another Wednesday

Well on my desk today is this snazzy little storage box that my sister bought me for Christmas. I've been wondering what I could store in the itty little bitty compartments and as I've started to collect flowers and little embellishments for my card making and other projects I thought I'd store them in here.

I just love being organised. Next up on my little organisation splurge is my ribbon and lace stash which is getting out of hand.
I've sorted my buttons into two little jars in the meantime. I just love love love buttons.

And also on my desk today is one of the bespoke orders I'm working on. Hee is a teeny weeny peek at it.

So what are you up to today?
Take care Tanya x

It's Digi Choosday - Week 8 - Anything Goes

Hello everybody
Welcome to another  Digi Choosday challenge.  We have a corker of a challenge for you this week - It is 'ANYTHING GOES’ so guaranteed to get those creative juices working overtime!!
I’ve gone back to card making this week and have used the fab Work & Play 3 collection. I’ve used the cloud paper and the coloured digi images of the boy, girl and caravan which I’ve printed out several times and decoupaged.  I just love cutting out and layering up images.  There’s nothing more relaxing than cutting out.
I made the grass from some green card I had in my stash and just roughly cut it to look like blades of grass.
I finished the card off with one of the sentiments from the Work & Play 3 collection.  I just love the sentiments on this collection and the tag shapes are fab.
Here is my crafty make:-

WOYWW!! Wednesday 18th February 2015

Hello everybody

I'm back for another look at my Work Desk Wednesday and I've been crafting with some of the lovely Polka Doodle images from the Octavia Moonfly collection - papers, sentiments and digi images coloured by myself using Graph It pens.
You may remember that I started colouring these a few weeks ago and have now decided what I'm going to make with them so I've now printed off some co-ordinating papers and some sentiments that I may or may not use.

And here are the finished cards:

They are so pretty and I think I'm now in love with Octavia well and truly.  She is so girly and exceptionally sweet.  What do you think?
These are the ingredients I've used for both cards:

It's Digi Choosday Day - Week 7 - Springtime Pastels

Hello everybody

Welcome to another  Digi Choosday challenge.  This week’s challenge is ‘Springtime Pastels.’
When searching through my crafty stash I found these MDF butterflies that I had bought to make a home decor project.
So to welcome the start of spring and the lovely flowers that will soon be appearing in gardens attracting wonderful butterflies I have made something to hang in our bedroom once I've finished decorating it.
It was really simple to make but did take some time especially punching out all the teeny weeny flowers and sticking them to the butterfly wings.  I lost count with how many I punched out but the result is definitely worth the time spent.
The papers are from the Octavia Moonfly OCTAVIA MOONFLY collection which I have imported into Do Crafts Digital Designer and then added the words from the collection to them and then printed the papers out and using Mod Podge stuck them to the butterfly shapes and then sanded the edges off.

It's Digi Choosday Day - Week 6 - Love Is In The Air

Hello everybody
Welcome to another  DIGI CHOOSDAY challenge.
This week’s challenge is ‘Love is in the Air.’
This week  I've made a card featuring one of the new lovely digi images called ‘Cupid’ available as a single digi and also on the Work & Play 9 2XL Love Collection.  I've coloured the image using Graph It markers.
The papers I've used for the background are also available on the Work & Play 9 2XL Collection together with the hearts.  The word ‘LOVE’ which I've decoupaged down the side of the card is from the very very brand new creation from Polka Doodles called ‘Octavia Moonfly’ which is absolutely full of ever so wonderful digi images and papers and words and lots and lots of other cute stuff.
Here is my crafty make:
