It's Digi Choosday - Flower Frenzy - Week 12

Hello everybody It’s Digi Choosday day again.Hope you’re ready to enter another Digi Choosday Challenge.

This week our challenge is ‘FLORAL FRENZY’ but before I get onto my design team inspiration I hope you managed to catch our very own wonderfully talented Nikky on Create & Craft on Friday.  If you didn't there's still time for you to catch her show by clicking HERE and searching through the past seven days' shows.  Did you see the two brand new CDs and download collections and two new stamp soup collections. They are available on pre-order on the website but you'll have to hurry cos they are selling out really really fast, as expected.

So for my challenge inspiration this week I've used the fabulous LILY BUG LOVE COLLECTION.  Full details of what I’ve used can be found in the Thumb Linkies below and my ingredient list. I've never made a box card so after a found a template that had a heart fold over piece at the front which I thought was a little different …

Polkadoodles - Create & Craft TV 1pm - Lemonade Fizz

Hello everybody

Yes I'm back again with another sample I made for Nikky's TV show last Friday at 1pm.  You can catch it on catch up on the Create & Craft TV on the webby by going to their seven day schedule.

This time I've made a canvas using the Lemonade Fizz Collection.

First of all I covered the 5.5" square artists canvas with some Texture Gel called Pebeo White Sand which had a little sparkle to it (which can't be seen on the photos unfortunately).  I then tore the papers up into random little squares to stick onto the canvas and then cut flowers, leaves, butterflies and bees up and layered them onto the canvas after I had inked the edges up with Memento Ink in Rose Bud.  I finished off the edges of the canvas with some pink paper sticky lace that I got free with a magazine and using Stickles Glitter Glue in Diamond on the wings of the bees and butterflies.  I then put some white faux pearls in the middles of the flowers.

I really loved making this sample…

Polkadoodles - Create & Craft 1pm - Lemonade Fizz

Hello everybody

Well here's another sample I made for Nikky's TV programme last Friday this time featuring the Lemonade Fizz collection.

This is an 8x8 card which features papers, flowers, leaves, bees, honey and a sentiment and a plain wheelbarrow which I've zentangled using a Staedtler Triplus Pen in two shades of blue.  I've used my scissors to distress the edges and inked up with Memento Ink in Desert Sand.  I had some lovely ribbon in my stash that has bees on that was just waiting for the perfect project....and here it is. Stickles Glitter glue has been added to the bee wings just to finish the card off.

Hope you like it.
Take care Tanya xx

Polkadoodles Show - Create & Craft 1pm - Lavender Tea

Hello everybody

So onto my second sample I made for the Create & Craft show yesterday.

Again this is from the Lavender Tea Collection and I've made a circle shaped card from black card using a die from Sweet Dixie (Decorative Circle die) cut twice and embellished with a sentiment, flowers, leaves and butterfly from the collection all decoupaged and then glittered using Stickles Glitter Glue in Waterfall.

Thank you for looking.

Polkadoodles Show - Create & Craft 1pm - Lemonade Fizz

Hello everybody

Well here's another post featuring one of the samples I made for Nikky's TV show today on Create & Craft.  You've still got chance to watch it if you go to the Create & Craft website on the 7 day schedule and look for the shows from the 18th March.

This sample was made using the Lemonade Fizz CD collection:

I've made some bunting using some premade bunting that I bought from Hobby Craft in a pack of 25 and some letters I made in Craft Artist.  The papers, flowers, butterflies, bees and leaves are all from the collection.  I used Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves for the edging and Liquid Pearls in Baby Blue for the dots on the letters and Stickles Glitter Glue in Diamond and Eucalyptus for the flower middles

Hope you like my sample from the Lemonade Fizz Collection.
Stay tuned for some more blog posts featuring my samples.
Take care Tanya xxx

It's Digi Choosday - Thinking Of You - Week 11

Hello everybody

It’s Digi Choosday day again.
Hope you’re ready to enter another Digi Choosday Challenge.
But before we get onto the challenge make sure you tune into Create & Craft on Friday the 18th March at 9am and 1pm as our very own Nikky Hall will be on with something fabulous and new and you won't want to miss it.  I really really really don't think you'll want to miss it.  Make sure you set your Skyplus thingies or whatever or you can catch it on Catch Up on the Create & Craft Channel for seven days after. So onto this week's challenge which is ‘THINKING OF YOU’. A friend of mine has been really poorly with glandular fever and I wanted to make something that would cheer her up and this colouring page from the Colour Therapy Collection was just the job.  I decided to colour it in bright colours and so out came my Derwent Inktense pencils and my waterbrush.  The centre of the design reminded me of a sun and just needed some yellow and orange.  I hope that thi…
